The race that moves hike & fly forward
Peakrace is not just another race.
It’s a new way of racing, flying, and thinking about hike & fly.
An international stage race, designed for pilots looking for more than just distance and raw commitment: more strategy, more control, more precision.

It’s about reading the conditions, making the right decisions, and being efficient both on foot and in the air.
Peakrace is for those who want to race fair, improve, and last.
A clear framework. Clear rules. So athletes can fully express themselves.
Walk. Fly. Adapt.
A stage race
Peakrace takes place over three stages, one per day.
Each morning, the course is announced during the briefing, designed according to the day’s weather conditions.
The goal is simple: to deliver a race that is coherent, committed, and safe.
Start and finish in the partner village
Mandatory turnpoints and aid stations
Individual, women’s, and team rankings
Live tracking and media coverage to follow the race in real time
Each evening, the race continues in a different way: recovery, debriefs, and shared moments.
Peakrace is also a strong human experience, rooted in the local territory.
The Peakrace DNA
Safety first
Courses adapted to aerological conditions, controlled flying zones, high-performance live tracking, track verification, precise briefings, and systematic equipment checks. Upstream, training sessions and masterclasses help pilots arrive well prepared.
Safety is not a limit to performance. It is its foundation.
Smart performance
At Peakrace, victory is decided by strategy, race management, and flying skills.
The race rewards overall performance: reading the conditions, decision-making, efficiency on foot and in the air — not unnecessary risk-taking.
Sharing and inclusivity
Peakrace is open to both elite pilots and those progressing, designed to encourage diversity and promote women’s access to competition.
Evolving the sport also means evolving who takes part in it.
Respect for the playground & eco-responsibility
Reducing impact, leaving no trace, limiting transport and waste, and valuing the summer mountain environment.
Peakrace is built on a long-term vision: developing hike & fly without compromising its natural playground.
