Welcome to the registration page for the first edition of PEAKRACE Samoëns.
A hike & fly competition built around three core principles:
safety, fairness and community spirit.
Two formats are available so that every pilot can find the race that suits them best:
PEAKRACE Elite — August 28–30, 2026
PEAKRACE Mini — August 29–30, 2026
Registrations are limited.
First come, first served, subject to validation of the participation requirements, especially for the Elite format.
Race Formats
PEAKRACE Elite
The Elite format is designed for experienced hike & fly pilots.
A multi-day stage race without assistance, where strategy, consistency and decision-making are as important as performance.
Dates: August 28–30, 2026
PEAKRACE Mini
The Mini format is designed for pilots who are autonomous in hike & fly and for those who want to discover competition within a structured and supportive environment.
A more accessible format, built on the same philosophy:
safety, progression and sharing.

Participation Requirements
PEAKRACE Elite
To validate your registration, you must be able to provide:
Experience in hike & fly distance flying
IPP5 level or Advanced Pilot License
A valid medical certificate
Proof of third-party liability insurance and personal insurance
And of course… your good mood
PEAKRACE Mini
To validate your registration, you must:
Be autonomous in hike & fly
Provide proof of third-party liability insurance and personal insurance
Provide a medical certificate
Medical and insurance certificates may be submitted later but must be provided before the race start.

Prize giving
Cancellation Policy
Event Cancellation
If the event is cancelled by the organization, 90% of the registration fee will be refunded.
The remaining 10% corresponds to administrative and organizational costs already incurred.
Participant Cancellation
If a participant cancels their registration, no refund will be issued.
A partial refund may be granted only upon presentation of a valid medical certificate, with a 20% deduction corresponding to administrative fees.
Cancellation requests must be submitted before August 1st, 2026.
Bib Transfer
Bib transfers are allowed until August 1st, 2026, provided that:
the new participant meets the participation requirements of the chosen format
the organization is informed in advance
the required documents from the new participant are provided
The organization reserves the right to refuse a transfer if the participation requirements are not met.
Race Modifications
The organization reserves the right to modify the course, schedule, or cancel a stage due to weather conditions, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond its control.
Such modifications do not entitle participants to a refund.
Before Registering
Please make sure that:
You select the format appropriate for your level
Your insurance is valid
You will be able to provide the required documents before the race start
You have read the cancellation policy
